Ohio Means Jobs Mobile Registration App
Ohio Means Jobs connects businesses to job seekers and provides career services to all Ohioans, including early intervention services for employers and workers during times of business closures and layoffs.
Their new mobile registration app enables workforce specialists to more efficiently and effectively register workers who have or will soon be laid off from an employer in Ohio.
The project was to create a cross-platform mobile registration app that allowed staff members to more efficiently and effectively register workers who have or will soon be laid off from an employer in Ohio.
I was solely responsible for the UI/UX and visual design, and collaborated with key stakeholders and project team members on the business goals, user objectives and functional requirements of the app.
Early UI/UX concepts started out as low-fidelity wireframe prototypes created using Sketch and InVision. Increased fidelity and visual branding were added as screen flows evolved throughout an iterative, creative process.
To speed up data entry and accuracy, we created the ability for users to scan their state ID or driver license to capture their personal information automatically.
